APRIL 30 — Through the initiatives of Cong. Ruwel Peter S. Gonzaga, Kolehiyo ng Pantukan’s three-story building is on its way through its completion since the start of its construction last November 27, 2020. The building is built to accommodate more college students in the upcoming years as the trend of enrollees in KNP increases by 22% per annum (based on the statistical reports of KNP registrar from 2014-2020).
The building will serve as the landmark building of the institution with 15 classrooms, new laboratories, and offices. With the new infrastructure, students are expected to enjoy more comfortable teaching-learning space and they will be provided with more opportunities to work out their ideas in the safest place as part of KNP Strategic Plan.
The groundbreaking program for the new infrastructure had been successfully conducted last 5th of February this year. Together during program were the BOT Chairman and Municipal Mayor, Hon. Roberto M. Yugo, MPA and Congressman Ruwel Peter Gonzaga, Dr. Jocelyn Hijada-Hua, KNP’s College President and the rest of the BOT and SB members of Municipality of Pantukan.
“Surely with this building to be erected, Kolehiyo ng Pantukan, as envisioned, will become a promising premier local college in the province of Davao de Oro.” said Hon. Yugo who approved all the provincial construction requirements, directives, and regulations to make the construction of the building possible.
