Student Handbook 2026 overview KNP promotes equal access, reasonable accommodation, non-discrimination, and support responsive to students' individual circumstances.
Accessibility support
Qualified students with disabilities or temporary or continuing accessibility needs may disclose the need to the designated coordinator. Documentation should be limited to what is reasonably necessary to understand the functional need.
Reasonable accommodation
An individualized plan may address admission or examination format, time or rest breaks, accessible materials and facilities, communication support, seating, or other reasonable adjustments while maintaining essential academic outcomes.
Pregnancy and caregiving
Pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, or caregiving status is not by itself a basis for exclusion. Reasonable academic, uniform, seating, health, schedule, lactation, and leave arrangements may be considered.
Respect and safe spaces
Discrimination, harassment, bullying, public ridicule, threats, coercion, and retaliation are prohibited. Concerns may be reported through the appropriate confidential College mechanism.
